An initiative of my own.
In March 2014 I initiated the Berlin peace vigils. In the videos I describe how a personal interest in political issues became a decision to organise a public event. Those memories include support and connections as well as conflict.
Participation between elections.
Through the Organisation zum Erhalt der Demokratie, I explore how people can formulate concerns, vote on them and choose representatives. opd is an independent registered association. Its website explains the current participation model.
Examining my own role.
In later conversations I speak openly about frustration and anger as earlier motivations. Today I think about connection, peaceful action and how people can talk despite different views. That development belongs to the story of my engagement.
